congrats INDIA!! this day goes down in the annals of science and finally what a way to pay tribute to every great mind this nation has produced through history..


and a wonderful moment for other countries as well, whose payloads are going to be switched on in the coming days. . GO ISRO!

The two images beamed back by the MIP from Chandrayaan were fairly good. But nowhere is the altitude mentioned. Has anyone any idea from how high these images were taken? :)
